In the Kings, Sutter inherits a team that excels at keeping pucks out of their own net, but struggles to light the lamp. LA is last in the league in scoring (2.13 goals per game).
Sutter has 409 career wins as a head coach.

Jonathan Quick started in net for Los Angeles but was pulled in the first period after allowing three goals on seven shots. Jonathan Bernier relieved Quick and stopped 15-of-20 shots.
