01/31/2012 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - QPR made a late swoop on deadline day Thursday to sign striker Bobby Zamora from Fulham for an undisclosed fee.

Zamora, 31, put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal at Loftus Road to link back up with former Cottagers manager Mark Hughes.

"Bobby is a guy that makes things happen on the pitch, be it scoring goals or creating chances for others," said Hughes. "He's a great foil for any team.

"We needed a player of his ilk at the Football Club and I couldn't be more delighted."

Zamora becomes QPR's fifth signing of the January transfer window, joining Djibril Cisse, Taye Taiwo, Nedum Onuoha, and Samba Diakite as newcomers to Loftus Road.

Also, he could have some added motivation to put up big numbers this season with the Eagles using their first pick in the draft on McNabb’s future successor Kevin Kolb.
